Hickson Family Get Together #2
Hello family, I pray that you are safe and well in these very trying times. Please keep each other in prayer as we get through this global pandemic and the racial tensions that are building higher by the day. I pray that some good will come out of this and we will be a better country and better people.
As you can see we had our second Hickson Family Get Together on Sunday. We had a great time talking, laughing and catching up. We will do it again but I really need some feedback from everyone. I saw that there was a lot of hits on the webpage but only around 12 or so people joined the call. Was it a bad time? Did people have issues with Zoom? Let me know so that we can make it a better experience and more of us can get on.
Before we get to the birthdays for the month, I have a few favors to ask. First can you take a few minutes to fill out a survey for one of our younger cousins, Cole Scott (Charlisa’s son, Charlie’s grandson, Aunt Ruth’s great-grandson). He has a health questionnaire for school and he could use our help. You can go to it here and fill it out. It is one question and it takes less than 30 seconds. Thanks!
Second, I would ask that you subscribe to the webpage. Like the survey, it takes 30 seconds to do. Look on the right side of the page, fill in your email address, click submit, go to your email and click the button to confirm your subscription. That’s it. It would be helpful for me because if everyone subscribes, I don’t have to post and then follow up with an email. I would really appreciate it.
Last thing before the birthdays, I am asking for family members to write a blog post for the family. I am asking you to share your experience and expertise with other family members. We have medical professionals, lawyers, educators, IT professionals and many more that can share their expertise with the family. Or maybe it’s a hobby that you have that you can share. I think that it would be great to share that with the family. If you are interested, leave a note in the comments section below, email me or call me!

I really enjoyed the Hickson Family virtual get-together. You know me, I called Michelle and Mylika and Kaiti to join the call. I think we have to recruit family members to join the call.Each of us in our group can pick a relative to recruit and ask them to join the call. The timing was good so no problem with the timing it fits for me. It was still early in the day. Keep the window for two hours, that way it gives wiggle room for people to jump on or off when possible. Possible people to recruit for the next call for me. I can get Diane’s Son Seth and I can recruit Lemma Valeda’s daughter… You get Charlisa, Chuckie gets Cyrus Ellison, Sandy gets Michael or Eddie..etc. etc.. Nay
